Kitchen Incubator

Incubator Program

1) Pre-Incubation Prep – Business Boost Package ($300), Camp ($550 - food and $400 - non-food), or Self-Completed

  • Business registration

  • Food Safety Manager Certification

  • Packaging and label development

  • Basic branding and marketing support

  • Additional support as needed

2) Incubator Program - AKA Kitchen Launch ($200)

  • 3-year program

  • Guidance with licensing and insurance

  • Free business boost meetings each quarter

  • Ongoing kitchen and business support with tracked metrics for business growth

  • Kitchen Member Rates (increase each year)

  • Priority scheduling in the kitchen

  • Includes subscription to Can-Do’s preferred provider list

3) Program Graduation

  • Incubator Kitchen Members either leave Can-Do or join our commercial kitchen as renters

Commercial Kitchen Rentals – Subject to availability

Fixed License Rentals (Annual License):

  • Renters must have an established business/organization, Food Safety Manager

  • Certification, liability insurance, and obtain a Fixed Food Establishment License.

  • Temporary License Rentals (Max 14 days):

  • Renters must have an established business/organization, Food Safety Manager Certification, liability insurance, and obtain a Temporary Food Establishment license.

Classes + Community Use:

  • No food license required. Must have (at minimum) a Food Handler’s Card and pay a security deposit.

  • All food made must be eaten on-site and cannot be given away or sold to the public.

Product Testing:

  • No food license required. Must have Food Safety Manager Certification and liability insurance. Highly recommended to join Can-Do’s incubator program.

  • Food produced cannot be given away or sold to the public.

Spring Camp starts March 2nd.
